The CSS rules visibility:hidden and display:none both result in the element not being visible, then what is the difference between visibility:hidden and display:none?
The css properties visibility and display may seem to do the same thing on the page, but they are very different and often confuse people new to web development.
visibility: hidden hides the element, but it still takes up space in the layout or HTML.
display: none removes the element completely from the document and can allow other elements to fill in. It does not take up any type of space, even though the HTML for it is still in the source code.
