HOW TO INSTALL DUAL OS ON SAME PC

Let us install windows xp and windows 7 on same pc

While installing dual os first we should install the lower version of os

1. First install windows xp
2. Press f2 or del button to go cmos page in latest board press f10 for one time boot
3. In the cmos page go to advance if not go to boot option and click enter
4. In that select first boot option as CD/DVD drive
5. And press f10 and enter yes to save the settings
6. The system will restart
7. After the system restart the system will restart from CD drive
8. Insert the xp  CD and press any key to boot from it
9. Press enter to setup windows
10. Then press f8 to accept license agreement
11. And now select or create a partition to install xp
12. Select the partition type as quick ntfs
13. And the files will begin to copy
14. After the process competed 100%
15. The system will restart again
16. It will be better to change the boot option to hdd as done first
17. And the second process will be started after restart
18. At the time of 33 seconds it asks some details fill it
19. And enter the serial number for your windows xp CD
20. The key will be given while purchase of your xp CD
21. After that the process continue to copy the required files
22. After finishing all the system will restart again
23. And the installation of windows xp finished

Now let install windows 7

1. Do the same process as above to set cmos to CD/DVD drive
2. Insert the win7 boot CD
3. Press any key to setup win7
4. The files will begin to copy
5. After finishing the process a window will appear
6. In that select the language u need
7. And click the install now
8. Then click the i accept the license term
9. Click the custom tab for selecting the partition to install win 7
10. Select the partition to install win7
11. Don’t select the windows xp partition
12. Select the partition and click next to install win7
13. Click ok to install and the setup will continues
14. After  installing updates process the system will restart
15. The final process will run
16. After finishing that process the installation was finished
17. At first time it will prepare your desktop

When you restart your system you can select the os u need
