osCommerce Tutorial – How to Configure osCommerce Online Store

Let’s start customizing your osCommerce Online Store. The first thing to do is check the settings of the shop. Login to your store’s administration area, using the bookmarked address and the login credentials you have provided upon the installation. To edit the store settings click on the Configuration link in the left menu.

You will see a list with different sections (My Store, Minimum Values, etc.). In order to change a setting please select the corresponding row. It will be highlighted. An Edit button will appear in the right column.

Click on it to edit the details. When you enter the correct details, use the Save button to apply them.

After you are done with all the applicable details in a section, you can proceed with the next section by selecting it from the left column and updating the details in the very same way.
